Slimmer does'nt neccessarily mean better - might even mean cheaper parts, more prone to breakage ( external ), actually get more heated ( internal ).

Still a long way to go for Sony, as it is only this year ( 2008 ) that they have begun with the handing-out of bargain deals and all, not neccessarily a "true" reduction in price for the PS3 console but affordable savings on bundles, promos, etc...
While "new" titles are slowly but surely being seen on retail outlet shelves, more coming soon.

Have to say this is the one and only game that made me go-out and buy a PS3 console, well two really, the other one being the "real-deal" GranTurismo 5 - but that will come-out around christmas time ( at the most ) or early next 2009 ( most probable ).
